Janet Brown, Wife Of Soddy Daisy Tax Investor Alleged In Ponzi Scheme, Agrees To Involuntary Bankruptcy

Janet Brown, wife of Soddy Daisy tax advisor Jack E. Brown who is alleged to have carried out a $12 million Ponzi Scheme, has agreed to an involuntary bankruptcy.

Her husband earlier agreed to a similar bankruptcy and the couple's Brown's Tax Service has been sold.

Ms. Brown was ordered to file a number of documents, including:

Statement of Financial Affairs

Summary of Schedules

Statistical Summary of Certain Liabilities and Related Data

Statement of Compliance with the Credit Counseling Requirement

Statement of Current Monthly Income and Means Test Calculation (Chapter 7 only)

Statement of Current Monthly Income and Disposable Income Calculation (Chapter 13 only)

Statement of Current Monthly Income (Chapter 11 only)

Chapter 13 Plan (Chapter 13 only)

A meeting of Janet Brown creditors is set for April 16 at 10 a.m. in the basement of Bankruptcy Court on 11th Street.

Trustee Jerry Farinash, who represents a long list of Brown creditors, had sought the involuntary bankruptcy.

Both of the Browns are represented by attorney Tom Ray. 

 


Harrison Man Charged With Throwing Girlfriend In Ditch; Putting Knife To Her Throat
